Lead Singer Syndrome is a dangerous disease. It tends to effect the hyperactive but this is by no means exclusive. Symptoms are extreme narcissism, cocaine abuse and showing up late. It has been something of a pandemic during the 21st century, but has existed since the dawn of time. Although the official title refers to "Lead Singers" it may be applied to any musician, business person, actor, etc. etc. A similar disorder is going "Hollywood". The two are basically mutually inclusive, and can be easily misdiagnosed as "Douchebaggery". Having L.S.S., going "Hollywood", and being a "Douchebag" are about as damaging to one'ds social life as AIDS. It may be worse.
