In the winter of 1985 the American government took it's first look into creating an entirely synthetic human in an attempt to lower the amount of dead American soldiers in moments of war. If the experiments went as planned America would be able to quickly repopulate the military with reprogrammed drones.

It all begins with the radical ideas of scientist Christoph Flemming, a decelerated genetics student, unsurpassed by anyone in his field. Christoph was raised in Austria, but fled to America during WW2 to escape the tyranny of Hitler and his Nazi regime. The USA saw the potential in Christoph's ideas and knew they could use him to build the army of super soldiers they'd always wanted.

The first and only experiment was known as 'OPERATION: Changnesia'. Everything was going as planned until a still unnamed terrorist organization attacked the facility where the experiments were being conducted. Several explosions caused canisters containing half grown humans to break open. The majority of test subjects degenerated the moment they met oxygen, but one of the experiments was a shade more resilient and escaped into the dark of the near by forests.

The government has spent and millions of tax payer dollars for decades trying to track down and bring the test tube success back into custody to no avail. It is believed the subject has developed an advanced form of camouflage to keep its identity a secret. Journalists and conspiracy theorists surmise it might be something like this...
